Location. First, the location is very good. Located very close to the city centre in a pedestrian area. The Room The room was very nice, spacious, and quiet. It must be said that the hotel is located in a pedestrian area, and therefore I assume that you will find quiet in all rooms. The room also had a small kitchen with all appliances (fridge, dishwasher, microwave, etc.). A coffee machine and a kettle are also available in the room, but you need to bring your own tea and coffee. We had a twin bedroom. The beds were large enough, and the mattresses were quite comfortable. There was no air conditioning, but we had a fan. This was okay for June, but I expect that during very warm summer days (and nights), this would not be sufficient. For instance, despite our fan, we had to keep the window open overnight. There is a TV in the room that we never used, but what is more important is the Wi-Fi, which was very good and fast. You can easily stream any Netflix or Amazon Prime video without any problems. The rendering is very fluid. Everything was provided, including towels and shower gel. I know all this is quite obvious, but I have been in hotels where it is not as obvious. Breakfast Breakfast was ok. You can have a basic continental or British breakfast. Parking Being in Lyon you don’t need a car. Therefore, it is important to find a parking space for your car. Parking around the hotel is very expensive. You should expect to pay around 40 EUR per 24 h. The hotel offers a parking space for 16 EUR per day. This is a bargain. However, the flip side is that parking is very narrow and because of that, if you have an SUV or a long car, its access requires special skills to enter and especially leave the parking. It is so narrow that you may damage your tires and/or rims. If you have a long limousine, for instance, or an oversized SUV, my recommendation would be to look for an alternative place to park.

Great location close to train station, with an easy walk to town centre along a main thoroughfare; though a little way away it's a nice stroll though there is public transport option. The massive Westfield shopping centre complex is just across from the station and there's a big supermarket. The room was quite spacious, with a well fitted out kitchenette. Bed was huge and comfortable, great pillows. Staff were friendly and helpful. Secure property. Great supply of hot water which doesn't run out and wi fi connection is stable. A great stay!

Appartment as expected of Citadines, was very comfy and had all you need for full self catering experience. If you are a foodie the apartment is a 1 minute walk from the fabulous Paul Bocuse Food hall, too delectable to miss. This place is foodlie heaven and so is Lyon overall. Food hall open from 7am until around 10 at night, so there is always a wonderful selection of food for a meal. As we were travelling by car we also had parking for our vehicle, although there is a charge for this.

Train station Part Dieu is a 15 minute walk through a huge shopping centre. Other public transport. Lots of nail salons in Cours Lafayette round the corner. Quiet.
